You keep your rights in your content and are responsible for checking permission to capture it. Picky provides storage, management and public display according to your settings. Please read the username, deletion, service limitation, and dispute provisions carefully.
1. Agreement and scope of service
This agreement is between you and 杭州丹悦科技有限公司 (“we”, “us”, or “our”) and governs the Picky website, Chrome extension, and supporting services. Please read it before completing account setup. Checking the agreement box and completing the corresponding action indicates your acceptance.
Picky currently provides web-content selection, saving, sync, browsing, search, collections, public collections and profiles, Trash, data export and account management. Saved content is called a Pick. RSS, AI and other unavailable features are outside the current service commitment. See the Privacy policy for how personal information is handled.
2. Eligibility and account security
You must be eligible to use the service and have the capacity to enter into this agreement under applicable law. Minors should use it only after a parent or guardian has reviewed and consented as legally required. If acting for an organization, you must have the necessary authority.
Sign in with an email or third-party account you are entitled to control, and provide lawful, accurate account information that does not mislead others. Email codes and Google sign-in verify your account. Picky never requires you to give a staff member your password or verification code.
Protect your email, devices, and authorization credentials. Do not rent, sell, or transfer an account without authorization. If it is misused, stop the affected access and contact us promptly. Responsibility for account activity depends on the facts and applicable law; this provision does not automatically excuse our statutory obligations.
3. Use and adjustment of usernames
A username is a service identifier for your account. Registering or using it does not confer permanent possession of, or exclusive rights to, that name. System paths, official identities, and some topic names may be reserved. A username does not establish an official association with a brand, organization, or topic.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Picky may change, reclaim, or reassign an allocated username without obtaining further consent where reasonably needed for platform functionality, official services or brand operations, name administration, security, or protection of third parties’ lawful rights.
Unless notice is prohibited by law or urgent action is required, we will give affected users reasonable advance notice, explain the reasons and effects, and provide arrangements for changing usernames. An adjustment does not itself change rights in account content. If username-based public addresses are introduced, those addresses or existing external links may change or stop working. You may request review at official@picky.page.
4. Captured content and responsible use
You must ensure you are entitled to access, copy, and save selected content, and comply with the source site’s lawful rules and applicable law. Being able to view something in a browser does not grant permission to copy, distribute, or commercially exploit it. Private saving does not automatically remove copyright, confidentiality, or data-protection obligations.
Do not use Picky to infringe intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights; store or distribute unlawful content; steal access credentials; bypass access controls; distribute malware; or engage in harassment, fraud, or other unlawful conduct. Do not attack the service, abuse requests, or evade limits in ways that affect the service or other users.
Check the selection and page information before saving to avoid unintentionally capturing credentials, confidential material, or sensitive information about others. Results may be affected by page changes, cross-origin image restrictions, and the visible area. A screenshot or static image may not preserve all interactions, styling, animation, or later updates of the original page.
5. Content rights and necessary permission
You and the relevant rights holders retain lawful rights in captured content. Using Picky does not transfer content ownership to us or give you rights in third-party content that you did not already have.
To carry out your instructions, you grant us a non-exclusive permission to store, copy, transmit, process, and display your content to you to the extent necessary for the service, and to allow necessary infrastructure providers to process it for the same purpose. This permission is limited to providing, maintaining, and protecting the service you use. It does not authorize selling your content, publishing private Picks, or using them for model training.
This permission ends when the relevant content is actually deleted or it is no longer needed to provide the service, except for retention necessary to carry out deletion, meet legal obligations, or address disputes, and only for those purposes. Rights in Picky’s software, brand, marks, and other service materials belong to us or the relevant licensors.
6. Private content and third-party services
Saved Picks follow your save-location and visibility settings: uncollected content defaults to public, which you can disable in settings, while collected content follows its collection. New collections default to public and can be created private. Enabling uncollected visibility applies to existing and future uncollected content. Necessary service processing and exceptions such as lawful disclosure are described in the Privacy policy. Making a collection public instructs Picky to show its current permitted content and media to visitors. Later changes appear automatically and search engines may index it. Review the content and your rights before making it public.
Third parties provide Google sign-in, email delivery, and source websites. When following a source or target link, review that website’s rules. Providing a link, saving a screenshot, or showing source information does not mean we endorse third-party content, and we cannot control its changes, availability, or data practices.
7. Save results, Undo and deletion
A preview or “Saving” message means processing is underway. Only confirmation by the service means the content has been saved to your library. Connection failures, clearing browser data, or job expiry may cause incomplete uploads to be lost. Check the actual save result.
Deleting a Pick or choosing Undo for a saved Pick moves it to Trash. You can restore it on the website within 14 days of the first move, or permanently delete it earlier. It cannot be restored after the period ends or permanent deletion starts.
Permanent deletion records the instruction, erases business content, removes related references and invalidates older exports; unreferenced media is cleaned up in the background. Minimal deletion controls are retained for at least 37 days. See the Privacy policy. Signing out, disconnecting or uninstalling does not close your account.
Deletion in Picky cannot remove copies you separately copied, downloaded, or provided to others. Keep appropriate independent copies of important or irreplaceable material.
8. Service changes and charges
We maintain the service and may change features or limits for security, technical, capacity, or product reasons. Available features are those shown in the product and expressly described. Where practical, we will give advance notice of changes or discontinuation that materially affect your use and provide reasonable arrangements for handling your content.
The current version does not offer paid subscriptions or automatic renewal. If paid features are introduced, we will explain prices, billing periods, renewal, cancellation, and refund rules before purchase and ask you to confirm separately. Using the current service does not authorize future charges.
9. Enforcement and ending the service
If there is reasonable evidence of unlawful activity, infringement, serious breach of this agreement, or a threat to service security, we may take proportionate action, including restricting affected operations, removing relevant content, or suspending account access. Except where law or urgent security needs prevent it, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to respond or request review.
You may stop using Picky at any time, confirm account deletion with an email code in Settings, or request help at official@picky.page. Confirmation immediately disables account and public-page access, followed by data cleanup under the Privacy policy; the username remains reserved. Ending the service does not affect existing lawful rights and obligations.
10. Rights complaints and appeals
If you believe content in Picky infringes your rights, email official@picky.page with your contact information, evidence of your rights, the content location or enough detail to identify it, and the specific grounds. Provide accurate statements and only the personal information necessary to handle the request.
We will review notices and take appropriate action under applicable law. Affected users may provide authorization, an explanation, or a request for review. An unverified allegation alone does not entitle a complainant to disclosure of private content.
11. Service assurances and liability
We use reasonable care to maintain Picky, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, or complete and consistent captures on every website. Networks, browsers, third-party services, and events beyond reasonable control may affect use. Picky does not promise permanent storage or replace a professional backup service.
Each party is responsible for its conduct and fault under applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable, do not result from our fault, or lack a legally sufficient causal connection to the service. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or reduces your statutory consumer rights.
12. Applicable rules and disputes
The formation, performance, and enforcement of this agreement are subject to applicable law. You can first contact official@picky.page to seek an agreed resolution. If that does not resolve a dispute, either party may seek relief in a court with lawful jurisdiction. This does not restrict complaints to competent authorities or other statutory rights.
If a provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A delay in exercising a right does not waive that right.
13. Changes and contact
Updates will be dated on this page. For important changes that materially affect your rights or obligations, we will provide advance notice through the website, email, or another appropriate channel and request confirmation when required. New terms do not retroactively change past events, and simply reading a policy does not consent to additional data processing.
This agreement is available in Simplified Chinese and English, maintained with the same intended meaning. For agreement, account, username-adjustment, or other service questions, contact 杭州丹悦科技有限公司 at official@picky.page.
